August Successes and Failures

Post Round-Up

As I mentioned when I relaunched this blog, my goal was to publish at least one blog post monthly, focusing primarily on printables to begin.  In June, July, and August I met this goal:  Not including my status post, I published weekly posts that included multiple free printables.
Here's what I posted in August.

At My House

I completed one decluttering project in my own home this month:  I sorted through a lot of medication measuring cups we had accumulated from our children's various medicines from the past few years.  I had a couple dozen!  I'm down to just a few now.

My goal in September is to complete at least one decluttering project a week.

Blog Progress

My goal is to hit 500 visitors by the end of October.  For August, the totals looked like this:

GoalActual
Visits450386
Income$0.00$0.00

As you can see, I didn't make my goal this month.  We had family visiting for most of August, so I didn't focus on this blog at all; I previously scheduled every post published and didn't even log on to look at the stats until today.  I can't feel too bad, though:  As with previous months, all of those visitors came without any social media presence or other marketing.  Frankly, up until this point, I haven't even told my family about the relaunch of this blog.  So for September, I intend to do a bit more to get the word out there about this blog so that I can make my September goal, which is the same as August's:  450 visits.

As I've said previously, I have opted not to include any affiliate links, ads, or paid printables on the blog at this time, so income to cover the $14.00 orderedandorganized.com domain name is an impossibility for now.  My primary goal at this point is to increase the visits I have every month.  You can aid me in this goal by clicking on the images that look like these to share the posts here.
Any input on the blog so far?  Leave me a comment below.  I'll respond within a week or so.

Blessings,
